My medical practice focuses on Rheumatology primary care and consultations and Internal Medicine. I have a special interest in patients with Fibromyalgia Syndrome, Systemic Lupus, musculoskeletal pain, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout and difficult to diagnose and treat Rheumatology and Internal Medicine patients. My practice approach has been to offer comprehensive, patient friendly medical practice services without additional concierge medical practice fees for my patients.

I really enjoy treating my patients with an emphasis on optimizing their health which means minimizing diseases and helping them reach their personal goals in life. I focus on preventive care to keep them as healthy as possible. This approach over time has kept most of my patients out of the hospital, improved their ability to function through comprehensive good health practices.

When needed, I put considerable thought into referring my patients to the most appropriate specialists, physical therapists, etc. and monitor the treatment they are receiving. As a service to my patients for no additional charge, if a patient is having difficulty getting a radiology appointment or a specialist referral in a reasonable amount of time, patients can call my Practice Manager, and they will try to expedite the appointment for them.

If my patients have medical concerns or questions, they can call my Practice Manager and/or leave a voice message. I try to call patients back in a timely fashion, usually by the end of the day, when they need to speak with me. It has been my practice to be very accessible to my patients, including making personal hospital visits for the patient that becomes hospitalized.

I am on the medical staff of Suburban Hospital which is associated with Johns Hopkins Hospital and NIH (The National Institutes of Health), considered one of the top hospitals in the country and The George Washington University Hospital. Both GW Hospital and Johns Hopkins are recognized Medical Centers of Excellence. Because of my affiliations with these hospitals, my patients will have access to the services and resources of these hospitals.
